Welcome to Flanagan's, where we specialize in training competitive dancers, from beginners to British and world champion levels. Our competitive Irish dancing program allows individuals to showcase their skills in solo performances while enjoying the excitement of travel and competition. Participants will have the opportunity to meet new people and develop confidence and performance abilities. Additionally, we offer competitive team opportunities for groups of 2, 4, and 8, promoting collaboration within the dance community.
Children

Depending on your commitment level, you can to attend one fun feis (competition) a year or dive deep into training for major competitions like The All Irelands, British Championships, and even the World Championships. World Irish Dance Association
At Flanagan's School, our principal, Mrs. Flanagan, is highly trained and experienced TCRG dedicated to helping you achieve your competition goals. With qualifications from the prestigious World Irish Dance Association, she has successfully completed their rigorous exam process. Under her guidance, our school is proudly affiliated with W.I.D.A, providing students with fantastic opportunities to compete at various levels. Where do we compete?
Join us for amazing competition opportunities! You could have the option to travel to Bristol, Swindon, London & other locations across the UK to participate in grade Feis (competitions) Alternatively, you can record in our studio and enter online Feis competitions from right here in Cornwall! If you're looking to experience competitions in other countries, we also travel to Ireland, Belgium, and other stunning European destinations—creating memories with friends along the journey! We do fund raise for larger events to help with travel costs.
Training
To be eligible for our Elite Competition training, you must train at least 2 hours a week and complete our Beginners Grade One syllabus in soft shoe dancing, as well as our heavy shoe Grade 3.
